… but resurrected as Caffeine overdose! Yeah, “Linux overdose” was a lousy title, as it gave people the impression that my blog was about Linux. If you use a Mac, you don’t want to read a blog titled “Linux overdose”.

It’s been a real quiet two months for this blog. That’s mainly because I’ve spent most of my free time developing Kristitty.net (Finnish christian web site), which is now powered by Drupal. I installed both Joomla and Drupal, then messed around with both. I had kind of a race between the two CMS systems and in the end the Drupal version of the site had advanced a lot faster, so I simply picked that one. Somehow Drupal was easier and simpler to use, but that’s just my opinion.

Now I have great plans for Finnmetal.com too, but zero time to fulfill them. One day there will be a Finnmetal.com. It’ll be so Web 2.0… if I can find the time to just make the damn site. There really aren’t any good web sites devoted to Finnish heavy metal, so I figure I must make one.

Before leaving for work, I ran across WordPress and decided it’s time to finally try it out. I read their Famous 5-Minute Install and found it almost too easy. Only five minutes and my blog was installed and ready to go. I bet I’ll spend endless nights tuning and modifying it though. But so far it looks very cool and extremely pro. And it happened again – after browsing and installing hundreds of themes I went back to the default Kubrick! Why fix something that ain’t broke? Well now that my blog is on, it’s time to start blogging about digital photography, Linux, geocaching, travelling and life in general.

P.S. I left the original “Hello World” post intact. I wonder how many bloggers have done so? Gotta give WordPress some credit.
